The Tjerkgaast Data Center is a compact yet highly efficient facility designed for modern IT infrastructure needs. Covering a total surface area of 50 m², it provides a dedicated and optimized environment for hosting critical business operations. The facility has a total power capacity of 225 kVA, with per-rack capacities ranging from 1 to 20 kVA, ensuring flexibility for a wide variety of customer requirements. Power is supplied through dual A and B feeds, offering redundancy and continuous operation, with 230V and 400V power options available, and 48V on request for specialized configurations.
Focused on sustainability and energy efficiency, the Tjerkgaast Data Center operates with a PUE of less than 1.2 and is fully powered by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy, making it an eco-friendly option. The facility uses direct free air cooling, keeping the temperature on the data floor between 20°C and 27°C, and employs the cold corridor principle to enhance cooling efficiency while minimizing energy consumption. As a carrier-neutral facility, the data center allows clients the freedom to choose their network providers and offers a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, ensuring reliable connectivity.
Security is paramount at the Tjerkgaast Data Center, with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team available to address any alarms. Access to the facility is managed through personal access passes, with additional options for iris scan or facial recognition for heightened security. Separately lockable racks provide extra protection for client equipment, and a 24/7 service desk is available year-round to offer constant support for any operational needs.
