The Haarlem Data Center is a compact and highly efficient facility designed for modern IT infrastructure needs. It features a total surface area of 50 m², providing a well-optimized space for critical equipment. The center supports a total power capacity of 225 kVA, offering 1 to 20 kVA per rack, making it suitable for various business requirements. With dual A and B power feeds, the data center ensures redundant and reliable power, offering 230V and 400V, with 48V available on request for specific configurations.
This facility is designed with sustainability in mind, boasting a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.2 and powered entirely by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy. The data center utilizes direct free air cooling, maintaining optimal temperatures between 20°C and 27°C, while the cold corridor principle enhances the cooling system’s efficiency and minimizes energy use. As a carrier neutral facility, the Haarlem Data Center provides clients with the flexibility to select from multiple network providers. It also offers a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted connectivity.
Security is a key focus at the Haarlem Data Center, with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team available to handle any alarms. Access is secured through personal access passes, with options for iris scan or facial recognition for heightened security measures. The facility also features separately lockable racks, ensuring that client hardware is protected. Additionally, a 24/7 service desk is available every day of the year, providing round-the-clock support to meet any operational needs.
