About Amsterdam
The Amsterdam Data Center is a cutting-edge facility known for its efficient use of space and commitment to sustainability. It features a total surface area of 80 m², with each data floor covering 40 m². Despite its relatively compact size, the data center offers a powerful infrastructure, with a total capacity of 400 kVA and per-rack capacities ranging from 1 to 20 kVA. The center is equipped with dual power feeds (A and B feed), ensuring redundancy and stability, and offers 230V and 400V, with 48V available on request.
The facility is highly energy-efficient, boasting a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.2, and is 100% powered by sustainable Dutch wind energy, making it a green choice for businesses. The direct free air cooling system maintains the temperature between 20°C and 27°C on the data floors, while the cold corridor principle helps optimize cooling performance and energy consumption. Being carrier neutral, the center offers flexibility in network provider choices, and clients can benefit from a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee.
Security is a top priority at the Amsterdam Data Center, with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team on alert for any alarms. Access to the facility is controlled via personal access passes, with additional options for iris scans or facial recognition for enhanced security. Separately lockable racks offer further protection for equipment. The data center’s 24/7 service desk, available every day of the year, ensures that support is always within reach.
