The Hilversum Data Center is a robust facility offering both space and power for high-performance IT infrastructure. With a total surface area of 150 m², spread across three data floors each measuring 50 m², the center provides ample room for critical business operations. The facility supports an impressive 700 kVA total capacity, with per-rack capacities ranging from 1 to 20 kVA, ensuring flexibility to meet the varying power demands of different clients. Power is supplied via dual A and B feeds, guaranteeing redundancy and reliability. 230V and 400V power options are available, and 48V is offered on request for specialized equipment.
The Hilversum Data Center is highly energy-efficient, maintaining a PUE of less than 1.2. It is powered entirely by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy, reflecting its commitment to sustainability. The facility utilizes direct free air cooling, with temperatures on the data floor kept between 20°C and 27°C, and operates on the cold corridor principle to optimize cooling performance. As a carrier-neutral facility, it allows customers the flexibility to choose from multiple network providers, and it also offers a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, ensuring continuous and reliable connectivity.
Security is a priority at the Hilversum Data Center. The facility is equipped with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team that is on alert in case of any alarms. Access is secured through personal access passes, with additional options for iris scan or facial recognition for enhanced security. Separately lockable racks ensure the protection of client hardware. To further support operations, a 24/7 service desk is available throughout the year, ensuring that assistance is always at hand.
