About Maastricht
The Maastricht Data Center is a highly efficient and environmentally conscious facility designed for modern IT operations. It offers a total surface area of 50 m², providing an optimal space for housing critical infrastructure. The center features a total power capacity of 160 kVA, with 1 to 20 kVA per rack, ensuring flexibility to accommodate different power requirements. Power is delivered through dual A and B feeds, ensuring continuous uptime and redundancy, with 230V and 400V power options and 48V available on request for specialized equipment.
Sustainability is a key focus at the Maastricht Data Center, with a PUE of less than 1.2 and operations powered entirely by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy. The facility employs direct free air cooling, maintaining temperatures between 20°C and 27°C on the data floor. Additionally, the use of the cold corridor principle optimizes cooling efficiency, reducing energy consumption. As a carrier-neutral facility, the data center allows clients to choose from multiple network providers and offers a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee to ensure reliable and constant connectivity.
Security is a priority at the Maastricht Data Center, with comprehensive camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team on hand in case of alarms. Access to the facility is secured by personal access passes, with additional options for iris scans or facial recognition for enhanced security. Separately lockable racks provide further protection for client equipment, and a 24/7 service desk is available every day of the year, ensuring operational support is always within reach.
