About Lelystad
The Lelystad Data Center is a mid-sized, energy-efficient facility designed for high performance and reliability. With a total surface area of 180 m², spread across data floors of 45 m² each, the center offers enough space for hosting diverse IT infrastructure. The data center is equipped with a total power capacity of 450 kVA, supporting 1 to 20 kVA per rack, ensuring flexibility for varying power requirements. Power is provided via dual A and B feeds, guaranteeing uninterrupted operation with 230V and 400V options, and 48V available on request for specific needs.
The facility is committed to sustainability, with a PUE of less than 1.2, and is powered entirely by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy. It utilizes direct free air cooling, maintaining temperatures on the data floor between 20°C and 27°C, and incorporates the cold corridor principle for optimal cooling efficiency. As a carrier-neutral data center, clients have the freedom to choose their network providers, while the availability of a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee ensures robust connectivity at all times.
Security at the Lelystad Data Center is stringent, with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team on standby for any alarms. Access is controlled through personal access passes, with additional options for iris scan or facial recognition to enhance security. Separately lockable racks provide further protection for customer equipment. A 24/7 service desk ensures round-the-clock support, every day of the year, to meet any operational needs promptly.
