The Ugchelen Data Center is an energy-efficient and environmentally conscious facility designed to meet the needs of modern IT infrastructure. With a total surface area of 75 m², the data center provides ample space for hosting critical equipment. It boasts a total power capacity of 150 kVA, with per-rack capacities ranging from 1 to 20 kVA, ensuring flexibility to accommodate varying customer power requirements. Power is delivered through dual A and B feeds, providing redundancy and reliability, with 230V and 400V options available, and 48V available upon request.
This facility is designed for sustainability, operating with a PUE of less than 1.2 and running entirely on 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy. The center utilizes direct free air cooling, maintaining the temperature on the data floor between 20°C and 27°C, while the cold corridor principle ensures efficient cooling and optimized energy usage. As a carrier-neutral facility, the Ugchelen Data Center allows clients to select their preferred network providers and also offers a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, ensuring continuous and reliable connectivity.
Security at the Ugchelen Data Center is robust, featuring camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team ready to act in case of any alarms. Access is tightly controlled with personal access passes, and there are additional security measures such as iris scan or facial recognition options. Separately lockable racks offer further protection for client hardware. Additionally, the data center operates a 24/7 service desk, available throughout the year to provide support for any operational needs.
