The Rotterdam Data Center is a compact and sustainable facility, offering efficient infrastructure for modern IT operations. With a total surface area of 80 m², spread over 40 m² per data floor, the center is well-suited for small to medium-scale operations. It boasts a total power capacity of 281 kVA, with per-rack capacities ranging from 1 to 20 kVA, providing flexible power solutions to meet various client needs. The facility is equipped with dual A and B power feeds, ensuring high redundancy and continuous uptime, with 230V and 400V power options available, as well as 48V on request for specific configurations.
The Rotterdam Data Center focuses on energy efficiency, operating with a PUE of less than 1.2, and is powered entirely by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy, showcasing its commitment to green operations. The data center employs direct free air cooling, maintaining optimal temperatures on the data floor between 20°C and 27°C, while the cold corridor principle further enhances cooling efficiency and reduces energy usage. As a carrier-neutral facility, clients have the flexibility to select their preferred network providers, and the center also offers a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, ensuring reliable connectivity.
Security is a critical focus at the Rotterdam Data Center, which is equipped with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team available to handle any alarms. Access is controlled via personal access passes, with additional options for iris scans or facial recognition for enhanced security. Separately lockable racks provide an extra layer of protection for client equipment. The data center also features a 24/7 service desk, available every day of the year to offer continuous support for operational needs.
