The Roosendaal Data Center is a compact and efficient facility designed to support modern IT infrastructure while prioritizing sustainability. With a total surface area of 100 m², spread across 50 m² per data floor, the center provides adequate space for hosting various critical operations. The facility offers a total power capacity of 281 kVA, with per-rack capacities ranging from 1 to 20 kVA, making it versatile for a wide range of client requirements. Power is delivered through dual A and B feeds, ensuring redundancy and uninterrupted service, with 230V and 400V options available and 48V on request for specialized equipment.
The Roosendaal Data Center is highly energy efficient, with a PUE of less than 1.2 and powered entirely by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy. The facility utilizes direct free air cooling, maintaining the temperature between 20°C and 27°C on the data floor, while the cold corridor principle enhances cooling efficiency and reduces energy consumption. As a carrier-neutral facility, the data center offers flexibility in choosing network providers, and it features a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, ensuring reliable and continuous connectivity.
Security is a key priority at the Roosendaal Data Center, with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team available in case of any alarms. Access is controlled via personal access passes, with the option for iris scans or facial recognition to enhance security. Separately lockable racks provide additional physical protection for client equipment. The facility also offers a 24/7 service desk, available every day of the year, ensuring constant support for operational needs.
