The Megen Data Center is a compact and energy-efficient facility designed for modern IT infrastructure needs. It features a total surface area of 50 m², providing a dedicated space for critical business operations. The facility supports a total power capacity of 170 kVA, with per-rack capacities ranging from 1 to 20 kVA, allowing flexibility for various power demands. The power is delivered via dual A and B feeds, ensuring redundancy and continuous operation, with 230V and 400V options available and 48V on request for specialized equipment.
The Megen Data Center operates with a high level of energy efficiency, boasting a PUE of less than 1.2. The facility is fully powered by 100% sustainable Dutch wind energy, aligning with environmental sustainability goals. The center uses direct free air cooling, maintaining optimal temperatures on the data floor between 20°C and 27°C, and follows the cold corridor principle to enhance cooling efficiency while minimizing energy consumption. As a carrier-neutral facility, the data center offers clients flexibility in choosing network providers and provides a radio link with a 99.999% uptime guarantee, ensuring consistent connectivity.
Security at the Megen Data Center is robust, with camera monitoring, an intrusion detection system, and a professional security response team available to handle any alarms. Access to the facility is managed via personal access passes, with options for enhanced security through iris scans or facial recognition. Separately lockable racks provide an added layer of protection for client equipment. A 24/7 service desk is available every day of the year, ensuring constant operational support and service.
