Retelit: Avalon 3

The Avalon 3 Data Center, located on Via Bisceglie in Milan, is a modern facility within the Avalon Campus. Situated just 4 km from Avalon 1, Avalon 3 benefits from proximity to Milan's dense fiber optic network and the interconnectivity of the entire campus.

The facility spans 3,500 square meters on the ground floor, with a load capacity of 1,500 kg per square meter. It is designed to support high-density configurations, featuring hot and cold aisles, staging and storage rooms, customizable cages, and private suites. Avalon 3 offers 3.2 MW of IT power, backed by redundant generators and UPS systems to ensure reliable and continuous power delivery.

As part of the carrier-neutral Avalon Campus, Avalon 3 enables seamless interconnectivity with over 165 carriers, OTTs, cloud providers, and content platforms through a distributed Meet-Me-Room architecture. Its advanced infrastructure fosters efficient and flexible connectivity options for diverse clients.

Security is a top priority at Avalon 3, with 24/7 surveillance, motion-detection video systems, and stringent access controls. The facility is also monitored continuously by a Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure uninterrupted operation.
