Panattoni Barcelona DC02 is a planned data center facility located in the Parc de l'Alba, Cerdanyola del Vallès, approximately 20 kilometers from Barcelona, Spain. Once completed, it is projected to be the largest data center in Catalonia, with a total installed capacity of 88 megawatts (MW) and spanning up to 50,169 square meters
Phase One: This phase will deliver 42 MW of power across 21,292 square meters. Construction is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025, with an estimated investment of €300 million. The facility is projected to be operational by the end of 2026.
Phase Two: An additional 46 MW will be added, covering 28,877 square meters, including the construction of an on-site electrical substation.
Strategically situated, the data center offers excellent connectivity to high-capacity fiber networks and is designed with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. The project underscores Panattoni's commitment to expanding digital infrastructure in the Iberian Peninsula and specializing in the data center sector.
