Cirion Technologies: BOG2 Data Center
About BOG2 Data Center
The BOG2 Data Center by Cirion Technologies is a high-capacity, enterprise-grade facility located in Bogotá, Colombia, at Calle 169B, No. 68-31, in the Portales del Norte district. As one of Cirion’s flagship sites in the Andean region, BOG2 is designed to support the demanding workloads of hyperscalers, enterprises, and network service providers, offering a secure and scalable environment for digital transformation initiatives.
This expansive data center delivers an impressive 7.2 MW of total power capacity, underpinned by 6.3 MW of power transformation infrastructure, ensuring robust energy supply for high-density computing and mission-critical applications. Built with N power configuration and 2N/N+1 redundancy models, BOG2 provides exceptional fault tolerance, ensuring that operations remain uninterrupted even during infrastructure maintenance or unexpected outages.
Spanning 713 square feet, the facility features a raised floor layout to optimize airflow, cooling efficiency, and cable management. The N+1 cooling redundancy design ensures thermal consistency across all operational zones, supporting stable performance and hardware longevity under all conditions.
BOG2 is a carrier-neutral facility, giving customers access to a wide range of network providers and cloud connectivity options. While specific on-ramp and provider partnerships are not listed, Cirion’s regional cloud ecosystem typically supports direct access to major platforms, making BOG2 ideal for hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
Sustainability is embedded into the facility’s design, with 1% of its energy sourced from renewable resources, aligning with global best practices and Cirion’s commitment to environmentally responsible infrastructure.
Purpose-built for resilience, scalability, and interconnectivity, the BOG2 Data Center is a cornerstone in Colombia’s growing digital infrastructure landscape. It serves as a trusted hub for organizations aiming to grow, transform, and future-proof their IT operations in Latin America.
