Quasar Data Center: Quasar Data Center
About Quasar Data Center
Quasar Data Center operates a highly secure, fault-tolerant facility designed for colocation, cloud computing, business continuity, and high-performance computing. As an SSAE, Type II compliant facility, Quasar ensures stringent controls over physical access, environmental conditions, and operational procedures, thereby minimizing the risk of data loss or disruption for its clients.
Housed within a reinforced concrete, 12-story telecommunications hotel, the data center spans 15,000 square feet of occupied space, with an additional 10,000 square feet available. Security measures include 24/7 access control via the Network Operations Center, on-site security personnel, biometric scanners or card access for entry, and extensive surveillance through closed-circuit TV cameras. The facility features dual underground power grids with a capacity of 13.7 megawatts, multiple uninterruptible power supplies, and backup generators to ensure continuous power availability.
Quasar's HVAC system incorporates both primary and backup thermal controls, while its networking infrastructure supports over 30 different carriers in a carrier-neutral environment. The fire suppression system employs clean agent technology, ensuring safety without risking damage to equipment.
This robust infrastructure provides customers with a reliable and secure environment for their IT operations, making Quasar Data Center a preferred choice for businesses seeking advanced data center solutions.
