About NXDATA
Discover NXDATA, a privately held company and a leading provider of neutral colocation, connectivity, and data center services in Romania. NXDATA is also the densest and most extensive interconnection and peering hub in Southeastern Europe (SEE). Founded in 2000 and operational since 2002, the company manages two carrier-neutral data centers in Bucharest, NXDATA-1 and NXDATA-2, and has started construction of its third facility, NXDATA-3. As an independent data center operator, NXDATA offers customers unrestricted access to their preferred service providers and the flexibility required for business continuity and long-term growth.
Infrastructure
NXDATA data centers deliver critical infrastructure, including reliable power distribution, advanced climate control, secure physical space, and access to multiple telecom networks. All facilities are monitored 24/7 and are equipped with uninterruptible power supply systems (N+N UPS), Diesel backup generators (N+N), N+1 cooling and ventilation systems, and fire detection and suppression systems.
Assessment Services
The company also offers assessment, design, and construction services for data centers, including development planning, site selection, cooling technologies, and backup power allocation strategies.
Cabling Services
NXDATA provides a full range of services, including equipment colocation, structured cabling (NXUTP, NXCOAX, NXFIBER), multi-network access, remote monitoring, and other managed services that support telecom operators, hosting providers, IP and CDN service integrators, and enterprise clients.
Connectivity
NXDATA sites are linked by an underground network of pre-run conduits in the North-South direction. Both NXDATA-1 and NXDATA-2 share access points with Bucharest metropolitan fiber optic telecommunications network, Netcity, and Bucharest metro operator, Metrorex.
