About Direct LTx
Founded in the 1970s as the regional headquarters for GPU, Direct LTx campus was specifically designed for critical 24/7 operations. Originally housing two large data centers, it now serves as a carrier hotel with 10 carriers, offering fiber transport and connectivity options for IT infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions.
In response to the growing demand for data center space in the mid-1980s, GPU built the "Computer Building" on site, adding 100,000 square feet of raised floor data center space. The facility boasts reinforced concrete foundations and redundant systems to ensure reliable operations.
Purchased by Albert and Eunice Boscov in 2005, they invested over $20 million to upgrade mechanical and electrical equipment. Today, Direct LTx caters to over 40 data center customers, offering disaster recovery suites and office spaces for various tenants requiring continuous operations.
Strategically located for companies in the region and along the I-95 Mid Atlantic corridor, Direct LTx is a hub for high-paying jobs and uninterrupted business operations. With state-of-the-art facilities and amenities such as ample parking, conference rooms, and an on-site cafeteria, it is an ideal choice for businesses seeking secure and reliable infrastructure.
