Our Virginia data center VA1 is just outside of Washington D.C., located in the heart of "Data Center Alley" containing one of the largest fiber carrier densities in the world and highly-reliable, cost-effective utility power from Dominion Virginia Power. The 28.4 megawatts carrier neutral campus is currently spread across two fully integrated data center buildings VA1, and VA2 totaling 290,000 square foot of data center space with another 2 million square feet in development.
Our 150,000 square foot VA1 data center is an EPA's ENERGY STAR certified facility with 14.4 megawatts of high-density critical IT power. This award-winning data center is largely filled with retail and large wholesale data center customers. VA1 data center features one of the most innovative data center architectures in the industry and patented technology, all backed by a 100% uptime SLA and a 24x7 staff of highly trained professionals that will take care of your critical IT infrastructure so you can focus on your IT applications.
Based on our significant capital investment and job creation in Ashburn, Virginia, RagingWire customers in the Ashburn data center campus are eligible to receive a Virginia sales tax exemption for computer equipment purchases installed at our Ashburn campus.
