The Prineville Data Center is a state-of-the-art facility in Oregon, representing a $2 billion investment in renewable energy and sustainability. Supporting over 1,000 skilled trade workers at peak construction and providing more than 350 operational jobs, the center is a key economic driver in the region. Powered by 100% renewable energy, with 677 MW added to PacifiCorp’s grid, the facility employs advanced cooling systems and water-saving technologies to maximize efficiency. Since 2011, the data center has provided $5.3 million in grants to local schools and nonprofits, promoting STEAM education and community initiatives. The facility also supports water restoration projects in local watersheds, with a goal to be water positive by 2030.
