The Montgomery Data Center is part of an $800 million investment in Alabama, focusing on sustainability and community engagement. The facility will support over 1,000 skilled trade workers at peak construction and provide around 100 operational jobs once completed. Powered by 100% renewable energy, with 227 MW added to Alabama’s grid, the center incorporates advanced cooling systems to minimize water usage and is designed to be water positive by 2030. In addition to sustainability efforts, the center will launch a community grants program to support local schools and nonprofits, driving STEAM education and community development.
