KIO Networks: KIO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 1 (SDO1)

KIO Dominican Republic 1 (SDO1) is a highly secure and resilient data centre featuring a Data Hall with 223 m² of space and a power capacity of 44 kW. The facility is built with anti-seismic pedestals and hurricane-proof construction, adhering to TIER IV design characteristics and certifications to ensure maximum reliability and durability.

SDO1 is equipped with two 275 kVA UPS units in a redundant configuration, providing uninterrupted and filtered power to all installed equipment, supported by an advanced battery monitoring system. The electrical infrastructure boasts 2N redundancy, including two 450 kVA emergency generators and two diesel storage tanks, offering a seven-day autonomous operation. The cooling system is also designed with 2N redundancy, ensuring continuous and efficient temperature management. This robust setup makes KIO Dominican Republic 1 an ideal environment for hosting mission-critical IT operations, offering high availability and resilience.
