KIO Networks: KIO Bogota 1 (BOG1)

BOG1 Data Centre is located in the Zona Franca of Bogota, Fontibon, just 5 miles from downtown Bogota and 3 miles from El Dorado International Airport. The facility is a four-story building with 4,977 m² of construction, offering 1,160 m² of available space in its data halls during the first stage of development, with the capacity to double this space in a second stage. The building is constructed with anti-seismic foundations, ensuring structural resilience.

Designed to meet Uptime Institute's TIER III standards, BOG1 Data Centre features advanced infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability. The facility is equipped with three distributed parallel UPS systems, providing uninterrupted and filtered power to all installed equipment, supported by an advanced battery monitoring system. The electrical setup includes N+1 redundancy, with three parallel 1,650 kW emergency generators, each with its own diesel storage tank, offering 40.5 hours of autonomous operation, ensuring continuous power supply in all situations.
