About Loudoun County, VA Data Center
In 2018, we announced plans to construct a data center complex in Loudoun County, Virginia. In 2019, Google finished construction on the first phase of two data centers in the county, reflecting a $1.2 billion initial investment and establishing a long-term commitment to the region and state. Our data centers employ a number of people in a variety of full-time and contractor roles, including computer technicians, engineers, and various food services, maintenance, and security roles.
