Cirion Technologies: QUI2 Data Center
About QUI2 Data Center
The QUI2 Data Center by Cirion Technologies is a high-capacity, enterprise-class facility located in Quito, Ecuador, at Av. Eloy Alfaro 35-389 and Av. De Las Palmeras. As the second Cirion site in Ecuador’s capital, QUI2 complements the existing infrastructure with greater scale, power, and connectivity, making it a preferred choice for businesses with complex IT, cloud, and interconnection needs.
Designed for large-scale deployments, QUI2 delivers an impressive 5.0 MW of total power capacity, supported by a robust 4.8 MW power transformer system. This capacity allows for high-density compute environments and ensures room for scalable growth. The facility features an N power configuration paired with 2N power redundancy, delivering exceptional uptime and fault tolerance even in the most demanding operating conditions.
Spanning 653 square feet, the data center is built with a raised floor system to support efficient airflow and structured cable management. QUI2 also incorporates N+1 cooling redundancy, maintaining consistent temperature control and optimal performance across all IT environments, even under maximum load or during infrastructure maintenance.
As a carrier-neutral facility, QUI2 enables flexible and redundant interconnection with multiple network providers. This makes it ideal for enterprises pursuing hybrid or multi-cloud strategies, as well as for content providers and financial institutions that require low-latency, high-availability network access. While specific on-ramp providers are not listed, the facility aligns with Cirion’s regional ecosystem that spans Latin America.
QUI2 is also aligned with Cirion’s sustainability objectives, sourcing 1% of its power from renewable energy. This ensures environmentally conscious operation while maintaining the high-performance standards needed for enterprise infrastructure.
The QUI2 Data Center stands as one of Ecuador’s most advanced colocation sites, offering powerful infrastructure, redundant systems, and regional cloud access in a secure and compliant environment. It is a critical asset for businesses aiming to modernize, scale, and digitally transform their operations across the Andean region.
