Cirion Technologies: MEX1 Data Center
About MEX1 Data Center
The MEX1 Data Center by Cirion Technologies is a mission-critical facility located in Mexico City, Mexico, at Av. Primero de Mayo No. 130, Industrial Atoto, Naucalpan. Positioned within one of Latin America's largest metropolitan and economic zones, MEX1 serves as a central hub for data, cloud, and network infrastructure across Mexico and the broader North American region.
Engineered for performance and resilience, MEX1 delivers a total power capacity of 1.6 MW, supported by 1.2 MW in transformer infrastructure. The site is designed with an N power configuration and 2N power redundancy, ensuring consistent uptime and fault tolerance for enterprise-grade applications and services. With robust power design, MEX1 supports high-density deployments and demanding workloads with confidence.
The facility spans 201 square feet and features a raised floor layout, enabling efficient airflow management and structured cabling throughout the space. Its N+1 cooling redundancy system guarantees environmental stability, minimizing the risk of thermal issues and supporting continuous hardware performance even during maintenance cycles.
As a carrier-neutral data center, MEX1 offers flexible connectivity options to a wide range of telecom carriers, ISPs, and service providers. While specific on-ramp information isn’t listed, Cirion’s presence in the region enables access to critical cloud ecosystems and cross-border data transport services. This makes MEX1 a top choice for enterprises pursuing hybrid and multi-cloud strategies across Mexico and beyond.
In line with Cirion’s sustainable infrastructure approach, 1% of the facility’s energy usage is sourced from renewable resources, contributing to lower carbon emissions and more sustainable IT operations.
The MEX1 Data Center is a cornerstone of Cirion Technologies’ infrastructure portfolio in Mexico—delivering secure, scalable, and highly connected colocation solutions. It supports digital transformation for businesses in finance, cloud, media, and enterprise sectors, while enabling seamless regional and global interconnection.
