Cirion Technologies: CUR1 Data Center
About CUR1 Data Center
The CUR1 Data Center by Cirion Technologies is a strategically located digital infrastructure hub on the island of Curaçao, situated at Emeraudeweg #51, Willemstad. This facility serves as a key connectivity gateway between Latin America, North America, and Europe, offering critical infrastructure for enterprises, carriers, and cloud providers with regional and international reach.
CUR1 delivers a robust 2.0 MW of total power capacity, backed by a reliable 1.5 MW power transformer system. Designed with high availability in mind, the data center features an N+1 power redundancy model, ensuring seamless continuity and operational uptime. This configuration supports mission-critical workloads and provides the stability required for financial institutions, digital content providers, and global enterprises operating in multi-regional environments.
Spanning approximately 465 square feet, the CUR1 facility is built with a raised floor environment to optimize cooling efficiency and cable management. The data center also incorporates N+1 cooling redundancy, maintaining consistent environmental controls to protect IT infrastructure from overheating or performance degradation.
One of CUR1’s key advantages is its strategic role as a carrier-neutral facility with access to multiple subsea cable landing points and a variety of telecom providers. This makes it an ideal interconnection point for latency-sensitive applications, content distribution, and cross-continental data traffic. Customers benefit from the ability to build diverse and resilient network architectures across multiple geographies.
In alignment with Cirion’s sustainability goals, 1% of CUR1’s energy usage comes from renewable sources, a step toward greener infrastructure while maintaining enterprise-class performance and reliability.
As a regional gateway and highly interconnected data center, the CUR1 Data Center is a critical component of Cirion Technologies’ broader Latin American infrastructure ecosystem—offering the reliability, flexibility, and geographic reach needed to support digital growth and cross-border connectivity strategies.
