Centersquare Ashburn provides multi-cloud access, high-speed connectivity to other Centersquare data centers in the US, and low-latency Internet access. The facility boasts two buildings with ample space and power, designed for superior uptime and expansion capability.
Key features of Centersquare Ashburn include secured cages and locking cabinets, standard racks ranging from 44U to 45U, a robust sub floor load capacity of 300 lbs. per square foot, and customer drop-in cubicles for office space. Additionally, the facility offers 24x7 remote hands support, a loading dock for easy access, and various cross-connect options including copper, fiber, and coaxial.
The electrical capacity of Centersquare Ashburn is highly reliable and efficient. With Phase I & II offering 120 w/sq. ft. and Phase III & V offering 200 w/sq. ft., the facility can accommodate cabinets with power loads of 2.4, 4.3, and 6.2 kW. The UPS configuration is 2N, supported by a single utility feeder and a standby power configuration of N+1. Six 2,000 kW diesel generators, equipped with five belly tanks and one stand-alone tank, provide standby power.
For optimal cooling and HVAC distribution, Centersquare Ashburn features an N+1 HVAC system with eight 600-ton chillers and cooling towers. The facility also has three 20,000-gallon and two 17,000-gallon storage tanks. Safety measures include VESDA smoke detection and a conventional addressable fire alarm system, with pre-action dry pipe fire suppression in data center areas and wet sprinklers in non-equipment areas.
