Arteria Networks Corporation: ComSpace III
About ComSpace III
ComSpace III is a state-of-the-art data center operated by ARTERIA Networks Corporation, strategically located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Tokyo. The facility is situated on stable bedrock, away from active faults, minimizing risks associated with earthquakes and liquefaction. At an elevation of 40 meters above sea level, it also has a very low flood risk.
Key Features:
- Disaster-Resilient Infrastructure: ComSpace III features a modern base isolation system capable of withstanding earthquakes up to magnitude 7 on the Japanese Meteorological Agency seismic intensity scale. This system effectively absorbs seismic energy, reducing building movement and seismic forces.
Reliable Power Supply:The data center receives a special high-voltage dual power supply (66kV) from two separate substations, ensuring continuous power availability. It is equipped with air-cooled diesel generators capable of over 48 hours of continuous operation and utilizes an N+1 UPS configuration for additional redundancy.
Advanced Cooling Solutions:Designed to support high-density rack configurations, ComSpace III employs highly efficient air conditioning systems to maintain optimal operating temperatures. The facility offers a floor load capacity of 1,000 kg/m² and provides a rated power of 12 kVA per rack.
Robust Security Measures:Security is a top priority, with 24/7 on-site personnel, biometric authentication systems, metal detectors, and X-ray inspection equipment. The facility complies with FISC standards, ensuring stringent security protocols.
Eco-Friendly Operations:ComSpace III incorporates energy-efficient technologies and practices aimed at achieving high levels of energy efficiency, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.
Extensive Network Connectivity:The data center is directly connected to ARTERIA's VECTANT closed area backbone and internet backbone, providing a high-bandwidth, high-quality network access environment at a low cost.
ComSpace III serves a diverse clientele, including general enterprises, cloud service providers, and Internet Service Providers (ISPs), offering a secure and reliable environment for critical IT infrastructure.
