Ark operates two purpose-built concurrently maintainable facilities in Akron, Ohio totaling 52,000+ square feet of secure data storage space. Both are state-of-the-art environments providing scalable colocation solutions that save clients the expense associated with owning, operating, and maintaining such a facility independently. The facilities feature environmental systems and controls, redundant back-up power and HVAC, specialized fire detection, and reinforced concrete building construction. Both facilities offer conditioned data center space accommodating several cabinets with redundant fiber optic connections and 24/7/365 security. The Akron facility supports enhanced liquid cooling, including direct liquid cooling (DLC) installations.
